New Software as a Service (SaaS) platform to serve impact producers

Cool(dot)World -- in Beta and Open for Business!

We've been dreaming about this for over two decades, and now it's happening. Cool.World has launched in beta and we're getting ready to make some impact.

As partner Leena Minifie (CEO of Stories First) describes it, we're an "uber agency' combining the imact production expertise of her company and Hello Cool World with the data-power of SqueezeCMM a leader in content marteting in North America. As Minifie sees it, its a way to gain some measure of control over audience building in the face of the constantly shifting rules that social media platforms place on social cause marketers.  The current reality is that film pages are over and no one can advertise to other film audiences already built. The Cost Per Click has gone way too high up for independent film, and mega-corporations are setting the standard pricing to develop an audience and maintain reaching that same audience you have hard worked to develop from scratch. Cool World is a CRM that can target niche audiences from the get-go and retarget with the projects they want to view and follow.

The platform will be a Software as as Service (SaaS) offering in about a year, in the meantime Dodds and Minifie are using it for their impact campaign clients are are inviting some early adopters to experiment with the platform which combines opt-in list building with promotion based (anonymous) list retention and digital distribution for educational and activist content. Their mission: "To use big data for big good." Most  importantly to work across the silos of agencies and individual projects to stop competing and start collaborating to build audiences for progressive and niche projects. As Dodds' puts it: "Corporations and the radical right have endless resources to market at us and against us. Progressives need collective power in order to build and reach progressive audiences. We're going to use this tool to launch The New Corporation and I couldn't be more excited!"
